Itinerary
DAY 1 Windsor, Stonehenge & Paignton
Your adventure begins with a visit to the historic market town of Windsor, home to the world’s oldest and largest inhabited castle. Continue to Salisbury Plain to marvel at the mysterious standing stones of Stonehenge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site shrouded in ancient legend. Later, travel to the charming coastal town of Paignton for an evening orientation and dinner with your fellow travellers.
DAY 2 Eden Project & St. Ives
Today’s highlight is the Eden Project – an inspiring MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience. Explore the vast biomes, from the lush rainforest to the fragrant Mediterranean garden, and enjoy the outdoor landscapes, art installations, and performances. In the afternoon, head to the picturesque harbour town of St. Ives, known for its sandy beaches, art galleries, and vibrant coastal charm, before returning to Paignton.
DAY 3 Buckfast Abbey & Dartmoor National Park
Start your day with the option of a scenic Plymouth harbour cruise or free time to explore the city at your leisure. Continue to Buckfast Abbey, where you’ll Dive Into Culture and learn about the centuries-old traditions of the Benedictine monks who still live and worship here. Later, enjoy a scenic drive through Dartmoor National Park, famous for its wild moors and dramatic landscapes.
DAY 4 Tintagel & Bideford
Travel north along the Cornish coast to Tintagel, legendary birthplace of King Arthur. Perched high on dramatic cliffs, it offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic. Continue to the historic port town of Bideford for an orientation with your Travel Director.
DAY 5 Lynmouth & Exmoor National Park
This morning, visit Lynmouth, a charming coastal village often called the “walking capital” of Exmoor. Enjoy free time to explore before heading through Exmoor National Park, a landscape of high moors, wooded valleys, and rugged coastline. In the evening, share dinner with your travelling companions.
DAY 6 Bath & Return to London
End your journey with a visit to the UNESCO-listed city of Bath. Admire landmarks such as Pulteney Bridge and Bath Abbey, and step inside the ancient Roman Baths to see the Great Bath’s steaming thermal waters. Continue through the scenic countryside before arriving back in London, where your memorable Devon and Cornwall adventure concludes.
